9 Celebrity Twitter Tributes to Comedy Legend Anne Meara
Since her death Saturday, fellow actors and comedians have taken to Twitter to pay tribute—including son Ben Stiller.
The death Saturday of Anne Meara unleashed an outpouring of remembrances for the actress and comedienne.
Meara was an accomplished actress, half of the comedy team Stiller & Meara, a writer and playwright. She received four Emmy Award nominations, was nominated for a Tony Award, and won a Writer’s Guild Award for “The Other Woman.”
Her son, actor Ben Stiller, wrote on his Twitter account: “Thank you so much for all the kind words about Anne. All of us in our family feel so lucky to have had her in our lives.”
