Trump Supporters Hold Rally at Hollywood's Walk of Fame

Somehow, Hollywood's become LA's unlikely ground zero for Trump supporters.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- About 50 supporters of Donald J. Trump's presidential bid rallied Saturday at the billionaire's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and more were expected Sunday, an organizer said.

The group wore pro-Trump T-shirts and carried signs at Trump's rebuilt star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, on Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive, said Randi Berger of the San Fernando Valley For Trump Celebration Group.

"The more Donald J. Trump's opponents try to destroy him the harder his supporters will fight back to win," Berger said.

The group displayed its own version of Trump's star that reads "Mr. President Donald J. Trump," she said.

James Otis was arrested the day after he took a sledgehammer and pick to Trump's star to protest the candidate's alleged mistreatment of women.

He was released on $20,000 bail and is due in a downtown court November 18.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce quickly repaired the star at a cost of around $2,500.
