Video: Suspect Wanted In Follow-Home Robbery And Crash In Hollywood
Los Angeles police released video of a man and a woman who allegedly caused a pileup in Hollywood during a brazen armed robbery.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect in one of the more brazen follow-home robberies terrorizing the city.
The attack happened in broad daylight on April 16 near Highland and Melrose avenues not far from the Wilshire Country Club. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victims were inside a white Audi that was stopped in traffic when the driver a black Alfa Romeo SUV pulled alongside them and aimed a gun at them.
He demanded that they pull over and give them their property.

"The victim tried to flee by driving away but got stuck in traffic," according to the LAPD. "The suspect followed and collided with the rear of the victim's vehicle causing a four-vehicle collision."
The driver and a female passenger then fled on foot before police arrived on the scene.

Police later identified the driver as Cyree Jamal Carter, 23, of Inglewood. He was arrested in Long Beach about 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday after leading police on a short chase that ended in another car crash, according to the LAPD.
"Carter crashed the vehicle, fled on foot, and dropped a gun. He was eventually taken into custody without further incident and the gun was recovered," the LAPD said in a written release. "
Carter was booked into jail on suspicion of attempted robbery and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and his bail was set at $230,000. He later posted bond and was released from jail.
The woman remains at large, but detectives released a picture of the unidentified suspect in the hope someone will recognize her.
