Warren Beatty Accused Of Sexually Abusing Teen 50 Years Ago: Report

A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week accused the film legend of grooming and sexually assaulting a girl, 14, in 1973.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman accused actor Warren Beaty, 85, of sexually assaulting her as a young teenager nearly five decades ago in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week.

In the suit, Kristina Charlotte Hirsch describes being groomed and coerced into sexual contact over the course of months when she was 14 and 15-years-old in 1973, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

The famed “Bonnie and Clyde” actor and Oscar-winning director could not be reached for comment.

According to the Times, Hirsch claimed Beatty used his status as a Hollywood legend to “groom, manipulate, exploit and coerce sexual contact.” She claims she met Beatty on a set in Los Angeles when he was roughly 35 — more than twice her age.

Hirsch alleges Beatty befriended and flattered her and invited her to his hotel room to help her with homework and eventually coerced her into a sexual relationship. The relationship caused her physical and psychological distress, the suit contents. Hirsch is suing for damages.
