Young Thug Arrested In Hollywood On Weapons Charge

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Rapper Young Thug was arrested on weapons charges Thursday night following a stop at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.

Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was celebrating a birthday and listening party at the Dave and Buster restaurant at the Hollywood and Highland center, ABC7 reported. When police stopped him just before midnight, he allegedly was in possession of a concealed firearm in his vehicle, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

Williams was jailed and held in lieu of a $35,000 bond, Madison added.
