• Orestimba High Fregoso and Ramirez crowned TVL girls doubles tennis champions (westsideconnect.com) — Hughson High’s doubles team of Aiden Ramos and Hayden Rytting reached the TVL semifinals, knocking out Orestimba’s Aaron Gallardo and Jose Rodriguez along the way. The tournament at Modesto Junior College saw Orestimba’s Mirella Fregoso and Mirah Ramirez claim the girls doubles title, capping a strong season for several Trans-Valley League tennis programs that Hughson regularly faces.
