2. Decision on Oct. 20 on 17% police mgt. salary raise (orangecountytribune.com) — Huntington Beach officials are weighing a three-year, 17% raise for police management, with a final City Council vote set for Oct. 20. The deal, retroactive to July 1, would cost nearly $1 million over three years and require an immediate $275,000 budget appropriation if approved.
3. Top multifamily conferences of 2027 (multifamilydive.com) — Huntington Beach will host the Apartment Innovation & Marketing Conference at the Hyatt Regency resort May 2–5, 2027, bringing multifamily executives for sessions, roundtables, and networking. 4. 2026 Lehigh-Lafayette Telecast: Huntington Beach, CA (lehigh.edu) — Lehigh alumni and friends in Huntington Beach can gather locally on Saturday, November 21, for a free telecast party of the 162nd Lehigh-Lafayette football rivalry. The event starts at 9 a.m., offers a cash bar with food available for purchase, and welcomes both Lehigh and Lafayette supporters to watch the game together.
