2 Dead After Speeding Car Hits Another Car In South Bay

CHULA VISTA, CA — Two people died in collision in Chula Vista, police said Monday.

An unknown vehicle became engulfed in flames after it hit another vehicle and exited the roadway at 9:58 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block on Olympic Parkway, the Chula Vista Police Department reported.

The Chula Vista Fire Department responded to the fire and located two occupants that were unresponsive. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Officer Michael Knapp. Police have not identified the victims.
