BLCI's 2015 "Opportunity for Impact" Annual Fundraiser

On Tuesday, May 26th, the “Opportunity for Impact” annual fundraiser for Barrio Logan College Institute (BLCI), a San Diego nonprofit dedicated to helping disadvantaged families prepare their children for college enrollment, will be held at the San Diego Central Library, on the 9th floor. Proceeds from this event will support the children already in the BLCI program and as well as enable future students to fulfill their aspirations of a higher education.

BLCI’s event will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Guests will participate in a cocktail hour on the Qualcomm Dome Terrace of the San Diego Central Library and end the night inside as BLCI honors donors, hosts an auction and shares stories of success.

Located in a predominantly low-income community, BLCI is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by preparing disadvantaged students to be among the first in their families to attend and succeed in college. Working together with disadvantaged families, BLCI ensures that 100% of its high school graduates enroll in college. BLCI also helps students succeed in college programs across the nation.
