Body Of Drowning Victim Found In Imperial Beach
The body of a man was found on the beach near the Imperial Beach Pier, sheriff's officials said.
IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – The body of a man was found Sunday on the beach near the Imperial Beach Pier, sheriff's officials said.
The man, in his late 20s, was found by joggers at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday still partially in the water at the 700 block of Seacoast Drive, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies, paramedics and fire personnel responded to the area. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct a further investigation to confirm the victim's identity, notify the man's family and determine the cause of death.
