You lead me to the man I spent my life with you taught me about friendship and trust and honesty
And sharing good and bad
I’m glad I talked to you today, my friend
A long time has passed but you didn’t seem different
I was comfortable talking to a friend I hadn’t seen for years
You didn’t remember me at first but it’s been a long time
And you’ve been gone
