Eddy Berducido: a Star Rising Fast in the World of Art

Eddy Berducido, a new star on the horizon.

It takes one a long time to see all the objects in the paintings of 21-year-old Eddy Berducido.

His paintings are uniquely detailed and full of color. His latest painting, "Cyclone of Life," is a wonderful example of his work. It shows movement, with a vast number of hues throughout the canvas.

This painting will sell for $1,200 and it is well worth that amount. His work is an inspiration to his peers in The Art Kids of San Diego County. Eddy has been part of TAKOSDC since he was 17 when he first started putting his work to paper and canvas.

He didn't like painting as it was difficult for him. He enjoyed lettering and then coloring with markers. He was made to paint and when he finally got a handle on it, well he hasn't stopped. Eddy also has a great talent for design and creates some fantastic T-shirts.

His hand painted T-shirts sell for $45 as they are one-of-a-kind original designs. All of them are hand painted with acrylic paint and art brush. But this is not what Eddy is getting known for. He is creating his own style of art and it is incredible.

One can truly identify his style, come up and say the painting is a Berducido or rather hey it is that beaver guy or fish artist. Eddy is known for his trademark of a beaver or fish in his paintings.

People can see his art as a brave step forward. There is a lot of critcism out there and Eddy has stepped up to the plate. He works hard on his art and it shows. The detail in the painting alone would drive most artists nuts trying to paint how he does.

He uses a paint brush to make those fine lines and intriquet details. One can see him lean over his canvas and paint for hours just in one area of the canvas. He is patient and skilled and that is what it takes to paint the way Eddy does.

You can view his works on the TAKOSDC website www.takosdc.com or contact him through TAKOSDC at 619-271-1450.
