Free Seminar by World Renowned Artist Given to The Art Kids of San Diego County

The Art Kids of San Diego County were treated to an art seminar given by world renowned artist Court Jones. The seminar focused on the features of the face, a subject well studied by Mr. Jones.

The three-hour seminar allowed these young artist to see the manner in which Mr. Jones created the shapes of facial features. Eyes, ears, the nose and the mouth were all studied and drawn by Court to show the attendees how features were created.

Court Jones is an instructor at the Watts Atelier in Encinitas.

He is most well known for receiving the Golden Nosey award for being the Best Caricature Artist in the world for the years 2005 and 2006. As an instructor one could not ask for a better person to demonstrate and teach young people the correct manner to draw the features of a face.

The usual amount one would have to pay for a seminar such as this one would be at least $100 per person. But because of the relationship, the director of The Art Kids of San Diego County has with Mr. Jones he paid a flat fee for Court's time and made the seminar free for all who attended. It is just an extra benefit of being an Art Kid.

The seminars will be part of the program as the director plans on having one each month. Everyone who attended the seminar was very pleased as to what they learned.
