Hotel is Happening: Will it Change the Housing Market?

What a great day in IB it is today. Going to the beach at O dark thirty for my morning surf I could hear the rumble of the concrete trucks and the glare of stadium lighting at the old Surfside 6 Motel site. I would almost call it a historical day but I’ll wait for the ribbon cutting of the new hotel for that.

So what will the new hotel do for our local Real Estate market? I am frequently asked!

In short nothing but good things. To see our city constantly improving with redevelopment in the right ways is exciting, even for this lifelong local. We will see an influx of visitors that will see what a great community we are and some may even consider investing or buying to live or possible a second home.

The only thing constant is change and Right Now we are in the midst of it.

With the new hotel our local dining and lounging establishment may flourish. Some may even choose to expand or enhance. Just another benefit we should enjoy.

I plead with the owners and operators of the new hotel to offer and maintain a quality product and to give the quality service we are hoping for. To take advantage of this gem of a location and partner with an established restaraunt and foodservice provider that will keep us in town for a fine dining experience.

With a combination of all this I predict the housing market will benefit from the new hotel!
