Sunday August 19th, 2012 Imperial Beach, CA
Fridays are special days in Imperial Beach as that is when one may go to the Pier Plaza and enjoy a multi-cultural experience. There are foods from all over the globe and products from various hemispheres. One example is the booth containing products from our neighbors in South American, Peru to be exact.
Products made from the Hair of an Alpaca. Soft and warm is the biproduct from these very special animals. Don't worry, they shave the hair from their bodies to make the products that keep us warm and comfortable. The alpaca remain uninjuried and the shearing makes them comfortable during the warm days in Peru.

Products made from the Alpaca are light yet warm and soft.
One can find socks, hats, purses, bags, hammocks and blankets at the Farmers Market each Friday when the Peruvian Connection sets up their booth. Their products are also very durable. It is amazing how one cannot resist the feel of something so soft and comfortable. Once you wear the product it is hard to go back to anything else.

Both Chris and Sarah have a special connection in Peru and purchase the products directly from the artists that make the products. So if you are looking for a new experience in clothing wear then come by and visit with Chris and Sarah and test it yourself. The feeling is just heavenly.
