I still have the little dwarf Tom and Nancy gave you

For your 67^th birthday

And found a Wal-Mart Card Scott bought for you

I guess I’ll use it

You would have been turning 71

And we married in 71

I  still miss your laughter

And the morning videos

And conversations about current

Events

And the leg thrown over my body for security

And all of your bedtime stories

About your past life

We  never got jealous

Because we knew we were one

And the past was the past, my friend, my lover
