Vacuum 2013

I tried to write a poem today

The words just wouldn’t come out

Not happy, Not sad

No hope, no doubt

Nothing there

The fire isn’t ashes but it doesn’t burn

Too old  to learn

I tried to write

My paper’s white

Passion’s  gone

Who cares, There’s nothing there

I tried to cry,  it wasn’t there

I used to, not today

I laughed but it sounded fake

My heart won’t break, 

There’s nothing there
