Winners of Blue Ribbons Show Off Their Stuff at New Class Location

The Art Kids started their first classes near the Chula Vista Marina Saturday.

With sailboats in the background and grass under their feet, The Art Kids of San Diego County show their blue ribbons and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of their new class site.

We will miss some of our friends who supported and enjoyed our art work, but it is better for the kids to have an environment where we are welcomed and appreciated. The kids love their new class site as it has many more advantages and opportunities for the kids to grow. It is also safer and much more quiet without the skateboards racing by and kids riding their bicycles on the plaza and jumping off the stairs and the walls.

By the way isn't that a violation with the riding of skateboards and bikes where the signs say it is prohibited? Why are they allowed to break the laws and not have it enforced? I think Mr. Garcias should be out there on Saturdays writing violations for all those breaking the rules. That is his job and I feel he is not doing it properly.
