You Never Know What You've Got 'til You're Gone

I HATE the damn desert.

I've spent so much of my life in ugly, hot and desolate places where the people wanted to kill me, what was I thinking moving to this hell hole? I know exactly 0 people.

I miss the beach. I miss my people.

I missed my best friend in the world dying.

If I was there watching out for her, she'd be here today. I try to get back to the beach, and the gods conspire against me every time.
