Dozens of Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Warehouse Blaze
Firefighters worked much of the night on a two-alarm fire at a Logan Heights warehouse, and said the blaze that caused $200,000 in damage.

SAN DIEGO - Firefighters worked much of the night on a two-alarm fire at a Logan Heights warehouse, and said Sunday that the blaze that caused $200,000 damage.
San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatchers sent firefighters to Commercial Street between South 28 and South 29th Streets at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, where they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the unoccupied warehouse and immediately called for a second alarm response, according to spokeswoman Monica Munoz. The fire started in the alley behind the business and extended into the warehouse.
A firefighter sustained a minor injury. Dozens of firefighters responded to fight the blaze and smoke could be seen for miles.

No other structures were damaged and no other injuries were reported. There was no apparent effect reported on the San Diego trolley's tracks, on Commercial Street.
