Eggs, Bacon and Politics at Candidates Forum Breakfast
Candidates meet with the local business community at September's Chamber of Commerce breakfast mixer.

The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce invited mayoral and City Council candidates to speak at its breakfast mixer last month. Â
Each candidate was given five minutes to speak to the crowd of about 40 people in the Dempsey Holder Center at the lifeguard station.

A special election is being held for the seat of Fred McLean, who died suddenly in May 2009. Brian Bilbray, 25, and Paul Brown, 30, will face off for the seat. The winner will serve two years in office.
