Ever Need Someone To Just Listen? Call me!

Are you going through a tough time in life?  Dealing with a crisis of some form?  Feeling lonely?  Maybe you are dealing with a problem related to relationships, or finances, or to work or maybe it is purely emotional and spiritual.

In times like this it is good to have someone to listen to your struggles and concerns.   You could use someone who does not offer easy and quick solutions, but who can be present with you through these hard times.  These are the times when you might want to turn to a pastor.

Don’t have a pastor?

As a pastor in the IB Community, I am available to meet with anyone who is having difficulty in their life.  You will find in me that I am non-judgmental, open-minded and a good listener.  I know from personal experience that sometimes having someone to talk to makes all the difference.  Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us.

Furthermore, all conversations with me are confidential.  With the exception of matters related to child abuse or the intent to cause harm to self or others, our conversations are strictly between us.   

There is no fee to meet with me.    If you have the time, I will make the time and we can talk.

So if there is something you would like to talk about, something that is bothering you, I am available.  I am committed to listening and if you would like I can offer a prayer.  You do not need to be a United Methodist, or even a Christian to ask me to visit with you.  And I am not going to lecture you on what you “should” believe.   I promise to respect you for the person you are.

I am here to be a pastor to the people of the Imperial Beach United Methodist Church and to be a pastor to the Imperial Beach community as well.  So, I am here for you.
