When my girls were small (preschool age) I'd smile,"Guess what I didn't have today?" "What mommy?" they'd say. I'd reply, "No love, I didn't have any love today." My girls would hug me and say, "I love you mommy."
As they got older I continued my "no love" routine. "Guess what I didn't have today?" They came up with some hilarious answers. After they teased me they'd said, "I love you mom."
Now I'm a grandmother and yes, I've kept my tradition alive...I bug my granddaughters with the same question. I get a hug and "I love you Bram."
Try it when you're in the mood...It's fun for good times, bad times, even boring times. Just say it to someone you love...You'll be surprised at some of the answers you get.
Love makes a difference in every soul reading these words. Love is for giving. Love is the beat in every beating heart. Remember love is forgiving.
