The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority will host a meeting at the Marina Vista Community Center Tuesday to discuss the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) which is based on the Air Installation Compatible Use Zones (AICUZ) study.
The meeting will be held to discuss the process for the land land use compatibility plan which is scheduled to be finalized later this year.
In 2011 discussion of the AICUZ study brought members of the Seaside Point neighborhood to Imperial Beach City Council meetings and meetings with the Navy to complain about a planned increase in helicopter activity, noise and pilots training violating their flight paths and getting close to homes.
