Holiday Traditions Come Alive at Mount Miguel Covenant Village

Senior living community invites greater San Diego residents to join the holiday festivities

Mount Miguel Covenant Village, a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, is hosting a series of events to celebrate the onset of the holiday season throughout the month of December for greater San Diego area residents to come and enjoy.

 - December 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m., Live Nativity and Lighting of the Village - Mount Miguel Covenant Village will be hosting a live nativity and dazzling village lighting to bring out the holiday spirit. Attendees are encourage to explore and stroll through the neighborhood while taking in the special lighting ceremony taking place just south of the North Pole.

 - December 11, 2014 at 8:30 a.m., Annual Swedish Saint Lucia Breakfast Christmas Tradition - Mount Miguel will host its annual Saint Lucia Breakfast, a popular Swedish Christmas tradition that lives on at the senior living community. The breakfast will feature traditional Scandinavian fare and celebrations for this festival light.

 - December 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., Christmas Choir Concert - Greater San Diego area residents are invited to listen and enjoy Mount Miguel Covenant Village’s resident choirs sing some holiday favorite carols and hymns in the community’s Bailey Center.
