Imperial Beach Pet Hospital is proud to announce that we have been reevaluated by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and our accreditation has been extended another 3 years.  AAHA is a professional association of veterinary hospitals founded in 1933 and is the only organization that provides accreditation for the veterinary practices throughout the United States and Canada.  AAHA sets the highest standard for quality pet care.  There are approximately 15% of the small animal hospitals in the United States that have accepted and passed the challenge of evaluation on 900 quality AAHA standards that encompass all aspects of pet care.  AAHA provides on outside independent evaluation and accreditation providing feedback on what we are doing well and improvements that we can make to better serve our clients and the pets they love.  Accreditation is voluntary and we have chosen to be accredited due to our commitment to excellence in small animal care.  The standards were developed with high quality care in mind.  By following those standards, we are in a better position to provide your pet with the best in veterinary care.  AAHA standards are a mark of distinction that sets our practice apart from others and pet owners gain peace of mind knowing their AAHA accredited practice team is one they can trust to provide the very best care for their beloved pets.  It means we have worked hard to create, implement and update our protocols and to review our procedures to ensure we are up to date and being the best we can.
