Imperial Beach State of the City Address Jan. 22 at Pier South Resort

Mayor Jim Janney will give a State of the City address at Pier South Resort for the first time since being elected to office in 2006.

The speech will be given in a conference room at the hotel and come at no cost to the city due to contributions from sponsors including Cal-Am Water, Atkins North America, Bikeway Village, EDCO, Sea180 Coastal Tavern, Pier South Resort and the law firms Kane, Ballmer & Berkman and McDougal, Love, Eckis, Boehmer and Foley, according to Administrative Secretary Ed Vea.

Each sponsor provides services to Imperial Beach customers, consult the city or their business has received funding from the now defunct Imperial Beach Redevelopment Agency.
