In Theaters This Weekend: 'Conan the Barbarian'
Jason Momoa wreaks havoc as the Cimmerian warrior.
Arnold Schwarzenegger left some pretty big sandals to fill as Conan the Barbarian, and Jason Momoa wears them well as he wreaks havoc across the screen in director Marcus Nispel’s dark and striking reboot, open in theaters Aug. 19.
Actor/model Momoa is no stranger to swinging a sword—he played warrior Ronan Dex on the sci-fi series Stargate Atlantis and can currently be seen as warlord Khal Drogo in the HBO series Game of Thrones. He’s rumored to have beat out Dolph Lundgren and Kellen Lutz, among other buff contenders, for the title role.
With swords, sorcery and a sexy lady (Rose McGowan), the manly man from Cimmeria takes care of business dispatching villains, battling vicious nasties, and settling the score to a rocking soundtrack.
