Iran Holding Navy Veteran From Imperial Beach In Prison
U.S. Navy veteran Michael R. White is being held on unspecified charges.
IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – Iran confirmed Wednesday it is holding U.S. Navy veteran Michael R. White at a prison in the Middle Eastern country, the Associated Press reported. White, 46, is from Imperial Beach.
The veteran was arrested by authorities in July 2018 while visiting his Iranian girlfriend, his mother told NBC News. He is being held on unspecified charges.
