Jewish Family Service's Older Adult Center Presents Moriah College Tour Band & Symphony Orchestra from Sydney, Australia

San Diego, CA -- On Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, the University City Older Adult Center of Jewish Family Service is hosting the Moriah College Tour Band and Symphony Orchestra from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Congregation Beth Israel, Social Hall, at 9001 Towne Centre Drive 92122.

Moriah College features 65 middle school and high school musicians from a Jewish Day School in Sydney Australia. Their extensive repertoire includes works from Gershwin, Lassus and Weber, as well as pieces from Eighth Candle, Klezmer Karnival and Les Miserables.

The University City Older Adult Center of Jewish Family Service provides a safe haven for older adults where they can meet new friends and enjoy good conversations in a caring and friendly environment. They offer social, educational and recreational programs as well as entertainment and enriching activities.
