They say to find myself

Where do I look?

In an old Norse Saga

Kneeling at a Pagan god?

In the Chapel on the hill?

Or drinking from frosty stein

Holding up a Protest Sign

From another day?

What now?

What does It all  really mean

Is 21 a figment in another domain

Or is it just a dream

Into a world that’s not quite sane

Who do I blame

Surely not myself

What now?

Can I still have my orange whip?

Do I have to tip?

I can walk in to a bar

Do I chug my beer or sip

Then smoke a good cigar

Or chug a shot of scotch instead

Will I remember when I am old and gray

Tales to tell the grandkids
