Less Than One Week to Register for June 5 Primary

Forms to register to vote are available in several languages and must be postmarked by May 21 to vote in the June 5 primary.

The deadline to register to vote for the June 5 primary election is six days away, the San Diego County Registrar of Voters Office said.

"If you've moved recently, changed your name or your party preference, you'll need to fill out a new registration form," said Deborah Seiler, the registrar of voters. "If you go online, the process is quick, easy and convenient."

She said the online form is in English, Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese. It needs to be printed, signed and postmarked by May 21.

May 29 is the deadline to request a mail ballot, Seiler said. Applications are online, or the back of the sample ballot and voter information pamphlet sent registered voters.
