The suspect was at large as of Friday night, according to San Diego police.

SAN YSIDRO, CA: Police are looking for a man suspected of trying to kidnap a teen girl Friday in San Ysidro.
The attempted kidnapping allegedly occurred about 5:15 p.m. as the victim, a 15-year-old girl, was walking westbound in the 100 block of West Mt. Carmel Drive near Padre Tullio Drive, according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
"She saw a red Honda sedan driving next to her," Heims said. "There was a Hispanic male suspect driving and he was looking at her. The victim began walking faster to get away. The suspect sped up and drove past the victim and stopped his car to prevent her from walking across the street. The suspect got out of the car and grabbed the victim by the arm and told her to get in the car."
