MARCH IN THE SUN & SEA FESTIVAL PARADE JULY 15 - Registration Now Open to Participants, Floats and Marching Bands

Sun & Sea Festival Parade Theme is Pirates in Paradise

Ahoy Mateys! It’s time to plan an amazing getaway to the Sun & Sea Parade! Join up to march in the parade with family and friends. Or, enter with your local community group or local business. Come one and come all to the Sun & Sea Festival Parade at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 15. It’s easy to register on the festival web site.

This year’s theme is Pirates in Paradise and we encourage entrants to participate and dress in Pirate gear and decorate their entries in the Pirate theme. All entries will be judged for overall Pirate themed dress, decorations and decorum for the following: Third Place – Scallywags; Second Place – Buccaneers; and First Place – Pirates in Paradise.

Parade begins at 9 a.m. sharp on July 15; check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Sports Park that morning. Awards will be presented at 11 a.m. at Pier Plaza. Also, again this year, participants are asked to refrain from giving out printed materials in an effort to respect the environment and to “Go Green”.
