Old Hollywood Hits North Park
Head to Wang's North Park for an Oscars red carpet experience.

Award season is almost over, but for those who want to experience the magic of Old Hollywood’s hustle and bustle for the 87th Annual Academy Awards here in San Diego, Wang’s North Park is hosting an Oscars Viewing Party the evening of Sunday, February 22.
San Diegans are invited to attend the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus Red Carpet Party for a night out with the stars -- the stars of GALA choruses, that is. As one of the ten largest GALA (Gay and Lesbian Association) Choruses in the United States, the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus (a local non-profit) features 130 talented singers.
- Tickets are $35 per person
- Proceeds from the event benefit the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus and its mission of changing lives one voice at a time
- Entry includes a buffet dinner, complimentary champagne, raffles and $500 in cash and prizes for ballot contest winners (two tickets were just donated for the event to see Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett perform at the Hollywood Bowl!)
- Attendees are encouraged to dress up, walk the red carpet, and pose for the cameras
- The event starts at 4 p.m. at Wang’s North Park
- Tickets are limited to 300 guests
