Princess Samantha Kennedy Duchess of Oltu Wants To Wish Mothers A Happy Mother's Day

I want to take the time to wish all Mothers a very Happy Mother's Day.  I want to wish my sweet mother, Elizabeth Lorine a wonderful Mother's Day, Hi Mom!  She is the best mother in the world, my best friend.  She grew up as a society girl where her family owned businesses, some of her family owned a chain of hotels and grocers.  The Latham Hotels are a family owned business, I am related to the Lathams.  My mother was a beauty Queen and she won a beauty contest.  She was set to marry a wealthy young man her parents wanted her to marry, but, instead she married a young artist who was also in the Air Force and they honeymooned on a ship. Before the honeymoon gala, he gave her a beautiful necklace with a large blue gemstone.  While they lived in Canada and Newfoundland they met Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip Mountbatten The Duke of Edinburgh.  They also met Nat King Cole and danced to his music.  She also met the Royals in France.  I was very honored to have been invited to England by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh several times and I will always treasure all my letters from the Royals.  My mother often talked about the Royals and Prince Philip.  I love them all, they are all my parents and I hold them dearly to my heart.  I wish my mother Elizabeth a very Happy Mother's Day.  I love you mother.
