Princess Samantha Kennedy Duchess of Oltu Wants You To Watch "A Streetcar Named Desire"

"A Streetcar Named Desire" is a 1951 drama starring Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh based on a on a play by Tennessee Williams.  This motion picture is about a brute who clashes with his wife's sister who comes to stay with them.  Blanche (Vivien Leigh) a fading Southern beauty leaves Mississippi to come to New Orleans to stay with her sister.  She dreams of Chivalry and White Knights on horses and as a child sweet, pure and innocent until brutish people forced her to change, even crushing her.  She hangs onto dreams to keep her going, her young husband kills himself one night years ago causing her to become neurotic.  After everything is gone from their home in Mississippi from years of men relatives selling off land for their shady women and drink, Blanche left with the ruins comes to New Orleans, she has no where else to go.  But Stanley (Marlon Brandon) doesn't want her and abuses her.  This is a wonderful motion picture and very sad at times.
