Princess Samantha Kennedy Is Very Sad To Learn Just Now That Mickey Rooney Has Died

While I just posted my blog here, I just heard on television that Mickey Rooney has died at the age of 93.  He became separated from his wife Jan two years ago and he had to move into his son's home.  When I worked with Mickey filming his film project in Old Town, San Diego, between our film breaks we would sit with Mickey and he talked about Jan and his son about how much he loved them, he was truly in love with his wife Jan and very happy.  He was fun to work with and I was very honored that he had chosen me out of over 300 people to film with him.  After the filming, each of us got to have a photo with him and he was on his way to Europe, soon after he mailed to me from Europe my photo of us that he autographed.  I was so happy.  Mickey had a nine decade motion picture career.  His first film was the 1926 film "Not To Be Trusted."  He was also in depression era movies and he can also be remembered for (2006) "Night At The Museum," and "The Muppets" in 2011.  He was in the 1937 motion picture "Captains Courageous" and the 1938 picture "Boys Town."  He was also in the Andy Hardy movies.  He called on Congress to make elder abuse a specific crime.  Mickey Rooney was a movie star, a star of all stars.  We are very sad to have lost such a super star and a legend.  Mickey you will be missed.    We love you Mickey.
