REALTORS® helping relocating military families

The Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® (PSAR), a trade group for San Diego-area realtors, will host a class for realtors to earn the National Association of REALTORS’® (NAR) Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certificate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 at the PSAR South County Service Center, 880 Canarios Court, Chula Vista.

 

Introduced in October 2013, the MRP was developed by NAR’s Center for Specialized Realtor Education to help realtors assist armed service members find affordable housing solutions that best meet their needs. The certificate demonstrates a realtor’s knowledge and skills in working with veterans and active duty military buyers and sellers and helping them take full advantage of their military benefits.

Cost to attend the class for MRP certification is $109 for PSAR members and $124 for non-members. The class will be taught by George Lawrence, a member of the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) state faculty since 2000 and a master instructor.
