Coming this week to DVD from Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. comes an amazing animated series with REGULAR SHOW: The Complete Third Season.
This 40 episode set tells the story of two friends Mordecai the blue jay and Rigby the raccoon. They work together taking care of the local park. When they slack off it usually brings on very surreal and strand misadventures.

But they aren’t alone with friends Benson, Pops, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Skips, Thomas, Margaret and Eileen. When the gang is all together there is nothing they can’t do and no trouble to big to get into.
At least they have each other!

FINAL WORD: The series was created by J.G. Quintel for Cartoon Network and it aired in 2010 becoming a success. A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, the characters of REGULAR SHOW are actually characters for his student films.
It is thrilling to hear the voice of Mark Hamil as Skips and yes I am a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy. With an excellent cast of voices, they make the characters lively, silly and the jokes between them are pretty darn funny.
The other voices are done by Steve Blum, Courtenay Taylor, David Ogden Stiers, Robin Downes, Jeff Bennett, Jennifer Hale, David Kaye, Fred Tatasciore and Julian Holloway.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give REGULAR SHOW: The Complete Third Season four tubs of popcorn out of five. Perhaps it’s my warped sense of humor but I laughed myself silly watching this show. Once you start watching, I suggest having a block of undisturbed television time because it’s worth every minute. Oh just order a pizza and settle in for the night for laughs galore!
The DVD includes seven hours of content with bonus features including “Characters Come to Life: Live Episode Read”, “Four Things You Didn’t know about JG”, “JG Answers Why” and 10 episode commentaries by the series creator.
There are show products that are finding their way into homes like a t-shirt I saw the other day and had to have!
