Sewage Runoff Closes Beaches
Contaminated runoff has closed beaches from Coronado to the U.S.-Mexico border.
After the recent rainfall, the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health has closed beaches from the border to Avenida del Sol near the Hotel del Coronado due to sewage-contaminated runoff flowing from the Tijuana River.
A general advisory has been issued for all other beaches countywide.
