South Bay Man Shot During Home Invasion
The victim's wife and child were also inside the National City home.
NATIONAL CITY, CA -- A man was shot early during the morning of Dec. 9 during an attempted home invasion at his home, authorities say.
Police were sent to the home in the 4000 block of Calmoor Street near Sweetwater Road around 2 a.m., according to a National City police dispatcher.
The victim was shot while his wife and child were inside the home and was later taken to a hospital, according to broadcast news reports.

Two teenage persons of interest were taken into custody, according to NBC7.
