Guide: South Bay Union School District Promotion Ceremonies

South Bay Union School District promotion ceremonies start Thursday for the district's 13 elementary schools.

Due to a large amount of students, Nicoloff Elementary School will hold its promotion ceremonies in two parts.

Some schools promotion ceremonies at Mar Vista Middle School and Southwest High School.

The new school year begins July 30.

Thursday, June 21

• Central Elementary: 5:30 p.m. in the Mendoza Elementary school auditorium
• Nestor Language Academy Charter School: 8th Grade promotion ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in Burress Auditorium at Imperial Beach Elementary School
• Pence Elementary: 5:30 p.m. on the lower playground

Friday, June 22

• Bayside Elementary: 9 a.m. in the auditorium
• Berry Elementary: 9 a.m. in the cafeteria
• Emory Elementary: 8:30 a.m. at Mar Vista Middle School
• Imperial Beach Elementary: 12 p.m. at Mar Vista Middle School
• Mendoza Elementary: 8 a.m. at Southwest High School
• Nestor Language Academy Charter School: 6th grade promotion ceremony at 10 a.m. at Southwest High School
• Nicoloff Elementary Group 1: 8:30 a.m. in the south auditorium
• Nicoloff Elementary Group 2: 10 a.m. in the south auditorium
• Oneonta Elementary: 9 a.m. on the upper playground
• Sunnyslope Elementary: 9:30 a.m. in the Montgomery High School gym
