The Letter

My one, my world, my everything,
     We have been together for sometime now, and in that time we have shared both good times and bad. In the the beginning, there was definitely more of the good. Years ago, when you first came into my life, there was a sense of wonderment as you explored every part of my very existence, you wanted to know everything about me. I, on the other hand already knew I was made for you before we even met. I have always excepted your childish and greedy ways hoping that one day you would change. I have given you nourishment. I have sheltered you from the storm. I have offered up all the wealth I have. But unsatisfied...you ask for more. As time went on, you abused me and took from me with little or no regard for my safety or longevity. I am not sure how long this one sided relationship will last, for I know one day you will leave me. For me, there is no escape, for I love you more than the deepest ocean or the mountains high. In other words I was made for you and I accept that. My only wish is that someday you will see that without me you cannot survive. You will find that wonderment and love for me like in younger days. Then we can spend eternity either lying together or blowing in the winds of change!.....Said the Earth to it's People!
