Update on The Art Kids of San Diego County

February 26th, 2014

Many times The Art Kids have participated in community events that have enriched the community and helped kids from around the neighborhood. The kids work hard at their art and have blue ribbons, awards and won many contests with their efforts. They bring honor to the community as well as very positive recognition.
Lately one of the most promising artists in The Art Kids has been verbally attacked by an Imperial Beach resident concerning her art. The attacker criticized her work and said it was cartoonish and not very good art.
The art that was criticized happened to be on Bibbey's Shell Shop.
I would like to correct this adult for her bad judgement and foul mouth as the 12 year old artist was asked to paint in this manner by the owner of the Shell Shop. Many kids and adults have enjoyed the art she painted on the building and it has done nothing but brought happiness and cameras to this place of business.
It is a mistake to criticize the art that was requested by the owner of the property and of the business. I would like to say to this immature adult that she needs to get a life and mind her own business.
By the way, this young artist is already reached the honor of being classified as a professional artist as she has her own business and is earning money for her talents. Not too many adult artists are able to say that about their work.
