Waste Management of San Diego Waste and Recycling Service Delayed by One Day

Service Delayed by One Day on Christmas and New Year's Week for end of week Service Customers

Waste Management of San Diego’s curbside residential trash and recycling and commercial pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day for customers who normally receive service on Thursday or Friday due to the company’s observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.

All customers in the following service areas, including business commercial, who receive service on Thursday or Friday should place their carts out for pick-up one day later than usual during these two weeks beginning Friday, December 26 and Friday, January 2:
• City of San Diego residential and business customers
• 4S Ranch
• El Cajon
• Santee
• Communities in unincorporated San Diego County, including Lakeside, Spring Valley, Alpine and Jamul

All Waste Management operations, including the buyback center and the customer service center will be closed on Thurs., Dec. 25, and Thurs., Jan. 1.

Excluding the two Waste Management observed holidays of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, Waste Management customer service is available by calling 1-866-WM RECYCLE (1-866-967-3292).
