WILDCOAST and State Assembly Speaker Toni G. Atkins to Clean Up Imperial Beach Bayfront Shoreline

Join WILDCOAST, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Speaker Atkins in a cleanup event for our beautiful South Bay Shoreline and tidelands.

On Saturday, February 21, Speaker of the California State Assembly Toni G. Atkins will join WILDCOAST, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Girl Scouts, Mar Vista High School students, and community volunteers to clean up the South San Diego Bay shoreline in Imperial Beach at the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The event will start at 9:30am at 7th St. and Boulevard Ave. in Imperial Beach, CA 91932.

The cleanup is part of an ongoing initiative to enhance and restore habitat and recreational opportunities on the South San Diego Bay and Imperial Beach shorelines. Speaker Atkins will be recognizing the efforts of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Mar Vista Poseidon Academy for their dedication to help conserve our beautiful coastal ecosystems.

WILDCOAST is an international conservation team that conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and wildlife.
