• Reunions Begin After Massive Julian Animal Rescue Operation (patch.com) — Hundreds of animals seized from the Villa Chardonnay property in Julian are now under San Diego Humane Society care, and a few have already been joyfully reunited with former owners. Investigators are still sorting through more than 700 animals, while staff and volunteers work daily on urgent medical treatment and long‑term placement plans that will affect many Julian-area pet owners.
