• Two shot and killed at Monterey County gas station (mercurynews.com) — A 26-year-old man from King City and a Soledad woman were fatally shot Monday night at the FasTrip gas station in Greenfield, and police are still searching for suspects. Greenfield officers are using extensive surveillance footage and urging witnesses to come forward as regional leaders mourn the victims and call for an end to such violence.
