• Man who targeted young women in La Riviera convicted of rape (fox40.com) — A man who attacked college-aged women living alone in La Riviera has been convicted of multiple rapes and robberies and now faces up to 180 years to life in prison. Prosecutors say he forced his way into apartments near Sacramento State in 2021, with DNA evidence linking the assaults. Sentencing is scheduled for November 26 in Sacramento County.
